Empower, Support, Eradicate AIDS
The theme of this year’s World AIDS Day 2023 is “Let communities lead.” The WHO website states that this year’s theme is a call to action to support and empower communities to take on leadership roles, rather than just celebrating the accomplishments of individual communities.
On this occasion of World AIDS Day, Nazareth School, Banakal, on 1st December 2023, along with students of class-9 brought out the awareness about HIV/AIDS through a role play and dance. They explained about HIV/AIDS, its significance and stressed the importance of equalization. The students clearly stated all about AIDS, the spread and prevention of AIDS are and how the patients need to be treated. In addition to that the Principal also emphasized the awareness of AIDS.
